Howard, whose he is an unconditional admirer and collector of his work. Through Howard he also discovered HP Lovecraft, the Master of horror, whose he is also a fan. Howard and Lovecraft, with their unique forms of fantastic, beautiful and terrifying narrative, became the main inspirations for Alex on creating of his own stories, adding to them yet, Alan Moore, Frank Miller, Jose Saramago, Machado de Assis and Rodolfo Teofilo.
