Orete Nascimento was born in Fortaleza (CE) in 1961. He is the author of the novels O Olhar Oblíquo do Medo (2015), Trégua (2019) and Ciladas (2020). He has short stories published in the anthologies Furos na Carne (2022), Travessias (2022), Off-Flip (2022), Off-Flip (2023) and Contos Reunidos (2023). In 2023 he published his first book of short stories Cabeça de todos nos by Editora Patuá. He was also one of the winners of the Rio de Contos Prize (2022), produced by the Government of the State of Rio de Janeiro and Matter Produções.
