Truly wonderful! This profusely-illustrated BILINGUAL book has hundreds of recipes for the most iconic, well-known dishes in Brazilian homes and kitchens. (The English version follows the Portuguese section.) This is all curated by Ana Luiza Trajano, one of Brazil's best-known cooks and culinary scholars. These are recipes for home-cooking so they can be created by anyone with access to a Brazilian market or who can order unusual ingredients on-line. They are also building blocks for more ambitious creations once users become familiar with these foundational recipes. For anyone, especially non-Brazilians, interested in Brazilian cuisine, this book is a MUST-HAVE! The only flaw is the absence of a good bilingual glossary of ingredients with recommendations for substitutions for unusual or hard-to-find items so people can create these dishes even if they are far away from Brazil!

Livro chegou em ótimo estado e no tempo previsto , edição maravilhosa achei muito interessante o livro ser bilíngue . Eu só não acho que seja um livro para iniciantes no mundo da culinária, algumas receitas são mais complicadas e o modo de preparo está muito resumido ( na minha opinião) sendo necessário uma certa experiência do leitor .
Mas o livro merece 5 estrelas por reunir receitas que expressam nossa cultura gastronômica tão rica em nosso país.
